MEDFORD, OREGON—FEBRUARY 13, 2017.
INDIVISIBL activists will march in support of U.S. Democratic Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley on Tuesday, February 14, at noon.
Activists will meet at Jackson County Offices, 10 South Oakdale Street, in Medford. They will then proceed to Senator Wyden’s office at 310 West 6th Street. This will be followed by a procession to Senator Jeff Merkley’s office at 10 South Bartlett Street.
Marchers will be bringing Valentine’s Day cards to express their gratitude to the senators for what they have done and are doing as true advocates for their constituents.
The INDIVISIBLE movement is a grassroots campaign to slow or stop the Trump agenda bent on attacking our free press, passing laws that restrict voting rights, harassing and deporting immigrants, dismantling essential environmental protections, repealing the Affordable Care Act, giving tax breaks to the very rich and to large corporations, and many other reactionary goals. The Indivisible movement, in contrast, is built on the values of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness.
